With Hamza Ecoguide, all trips to Majunga and the Boeny region are possible. Discover below all the circuits offered, which you can combine as you wish.
Caves of Anjohibe
Discovery of caves located 3 hours from Majunga track. Guided tour of the caves by limestone formation, presence of stalactites, stalagmites and discovery of underground galleries.
Swimming in natural pools and waterfall.
Circuit of 2 or 3 days, traditional bungalows.
Mazanova - Arab Counter
Discovery of a desert island, in the footsteps of Indo-Arab remains dating from the 14th to the 17th century.
Visit of Arab trading posts, detour to admire majestic baobabs.
Circuit over 1 or 2 days, bivouac on the island (3 days with option). Welcome by the local population, traditional dances.
Optional, solidarity tourism:
- Accompany the population to the activity of the Saline; drying, collection, packaging...
- Traditional fishing with local people, fish drying
Majunga - Ambalakalanoro
Discovery of the North West of the Boeny region.
Discoveries of red cirques, sedimentary formation of Quaternary age (1.8 million years BC).
Presence of large fairy chimneys, columns of sedimentary rocks.
Itinerant circuit over 4 to 5 days, bivouac, immersion with the local population.
Ampitsopitsoka
Immersion in a traditional Malagasy village located south of the Boeny region.
Traditional fishing, fish drying, canoe trip, discovery of local flora and fauna (lemurs, Satrana trees...)
Circuit over 1 or 2 days, traditional bungalows.
Optional: birds watching
Moramba Bay
Discovery of different red cirques, limestone formations emerging from the sea, islets covered with baobabs.
Meet many animal species; lemurs, rare birds...
Itinerant circuit of 7 to 8 days (travel at sea)
